The food was great and included scrambled eggs, croissants and cereals. Location: the hotel was close enough to the significant religious historical sights the sanctuaries, Rocamadour or L'Hospital and the crescent shaped cliff. Popped in Envies de Terroir for shots before sleep, it was a 10-15 minute walking distance from the venue: )

Beautifully decorated hotel with attentive staff. Super quiet and efficient A/C. High-quality breakfast with fresh fruit and pastries. Bonus pool for hot days. Close to the old town within a 5-minute walk. Highly recommended.
Nothing, it is perfect.

Rate, proximity to the city attractions.
no elevator, smell of the floors, covered with rope carpet.

It is a fine hotel with very good rooms. It is advisable to take the better category of rooms due to size of rooms and wide beds.
Noise transmits from the reception area to the rooms. A couple of doors would help.

My stay was very positive in September. A comfort double room with a beautiful view across the old town and the sanctuaries, had requested this in advance.

The hotel offers a comprehensive and luxurious breakfast with plenty of croissants, cereals, and eggs to satisfy every guest. It has a marvellous and particularly good location, just a 10-minute walk from the city centre. - Hotel Les Esclargies is close to main tourist attractions such as a fortress and a castle. - Situated near a cable car station in a good area.

Very helpful staff, newly fitted out rooms which are very comfortable, excellent and quiet air conditioning. Good location for access to Rocamdor with easy access and plenty of parking.
Not really a critisism, but just be aware that they do not have an evening restaurant, its only for breakfast, but there is an excellent restaurant nearby which the hotel will book for you (walking distance)

Really stylish,light,airy, clean.
Not keen on the 'wet room' bathroom as the shower made the whole floor wet.

Great value for money and perfect location for exploring the area. the rooms were clean and well-designed, with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. the friendly staff were always ready to assist and provide helpful recommendations. the continental breakfast was delicious, with high-quality produce. the hotel had a lovely pool, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.
The lack of a fridge in the room, which would have been useful for keeping drinks and snacks cool. this was a minor inconvenience in an otherwise enjoyable stay.

The owner greets you and explains his breakfast (fresh juices) great ingredients and wonderful coffee or even cappuccino. In the breakfast area or in your room coded entry for night owls and impeccable rooms, large windows, latest bath fixtures, sitting in the midst of a large park, where a beautiful clean swimming pool and plenty of car park. 3 steps away from the only way to get to the holy site : the elevators. No need to take a train; that's a bad joke no restaurant, means you can leave for dinner not feeling guilty !! restaurant la belle vue has great food and specials...5 Minutes walk free computer with internet for clients to use, day and night cleaning ladies wouldn't take a tip; had to force her to take it! No picture can describe the sand stone and concrete building, nor the exemplary beauty and grace of the lady of the house.
No elevator; it is one level up only. Wide stairway

I have stayed several times at the Hotel Les Esclargies and love it! Beautiful location and modern design make it great for an escape or for business. The staff is very friendly without being intrusive. The location is a real gem with Rocamadoure within walking distance and Dordogne (Lot) Valley perfect for bicyling or mideval village visiting. If more Americans traveled to this beautiful part of France I'm sure I would never be able to get another reservation.
